Was his tone strong in that screenshot? Yes, fair enough, but put it in context, he was getting hundreds of people reporting the exact same issue, who could have easily scrolled up to see his responses that it was a known issue and was being looked at. He was not, in any way shape or form "banning people who report the CB issue". I reviewed all of the bans yesterday, Gremlinboi banned a single user yesterday for DMing him directly and insulting him. Factually incorrect at best, a lie to drum up a lynch mob at worst. This post has been front page of the sub for over 24 hours now, despite being clearly targeted at an individual, exposing him to harassment for just trying to do his job. I plan on being as frank and open as I can be with this discussion.
I want to talk today about some of the posts I've seen targeting the discord mods, and discuss who the mods are, how we operate, and solicit feedback.
Some of you may remember me from when I wrote the various guides on the subreddit, from when I was modding this subreddit briefly, and may or may not know that I am now a ban appeal moderator on the official discord (Bade).
